School Registration for Newcomer Families
If you and your family are newcomers to Canada, (two years or less), and you would like to register your child(ren) for school, we can help.
We understand that registering students for school is an important first step to settling for newcomers. We believe it is important for students and parents to have a good beginning at a new school. Our newcomer reception facilitator team will guide you through the registration process in preparation for your child(ren) to start school.
Your first step is to complete the form and email it to our newcomer reception team at newcomers@retsd.mb.ca. Don’t worry about which school is designated for your child(ren) – the team will help with this! After emailing the form, you will be contacted about a meeting date within a few days.
